This gorgeous red dress has been donated by a grateful customer, because of lack of space, who recently bought a dress from us and wanted this dress to be enjoyed by someone who would love it as much as she did. She explained that she now has room for more vintage fashions. Female logic !

BLACK AND WHITE PHOTO
This is me in 1959 wearing a dress with very similar material to the orange and green one in the window display. Very similar style too.
50s sundress
This eye-catching 50s sundress is proving very popular with customers with its fitted waist and full skirt. It has a stiffened underskirt and pretty straps.
FLOWERS
These beautiful flowers were made by Jean who is a new volunteer. She firstly came to our free sewing classes and loved the shop so much that she is now volunteering and helping with sewing projects. These flowers are made from scraps of material she found in our sewing room. Carry on the good work Jean !

girl in summer dress
What a pretty picture this is of a young girl trying on one of our summer dresses in our Hay pop-up shop. I'm not surprised she bought the dress !
An anytime dress
Another fantastic coloured dress. This one is made by
Halmode Petites and has dainty bows on the front and exquisit button detail on the back. An anytime dress which will always look fresh and cool.
Belts
We have lots of unique belts in our accessory department but these two could be negatives of each other.
Ginger Rogers
What a fantastic colour this hand-made evening dress is. It was bought in London and would be ideal for a Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers themed party.
RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show July 2010 005
These photographs show a lovely lady named Gilly who sent us the following letter:
"We had a fantastic time at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. The weather was great, the stand looked fab and we met hundreds of very nice people. The best bit was wearing my beautiful vintage dresses. I had lots of comments and one designer took photos of the print of the second dress, green and coral flowers, and my handbag. The green dress was so cool and comfortable, just the thing when it was so hot up to 36 degrees one day.
The theme of the fashion show was vintage but all the clothes were modern day replicas and I was wearing the genuine article.
Its given me lots of ideas for next year. We are now applying for Chelsea so if we get accepted we will need some great clothes. Keep me posted on new clothes coming in as I just love wearing the vintage style, I feel really elegant and different"

Vintage and Craft Extravaganza!
Hi there - I am now back from a few days holiday in Torquay and am refreshed and ready to drive you all mad again !
As you can see from the poster below there is a Vintage and Craft Extravaganza in Worcester on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th August and Vintage Vision are planning to have a stall at this event so hurry along to Worcester and see all our gorgeous new stock.

ANOTHER DRESS GONE !
Just passing by Abergavenny on her way to a vintage fare in Weston-Super-Mare on Friday morning, this lady fell in love with and bought this fantastic dress from
Vintage Vision saying that she wouldn't possibly be able to wait until next year to visit us again now she knows where we are !
