These fantastic photographs were taken last year at Blaenavon's Heritage Weekend and the great news is that Vintage Vision will be exhibiting at this year's event which is being held on 9th and 10th July. We are all really excited about this especially the dressing up !

This is me in 1969 - what a difference 5 years makes! I had eventually developed some fashion sense, got rid of the cardigan and the perm and discovered nightclubs. Bring it on !

ITALY IN 64

This photograph was taken in 1964 when I was 17. I am the one in the middle with the permed hair and Brownie camera. It was my first holiday abroad without my parents and was organised by the college I was attending. I loved the dress I am wearing with its green and brown floral pattern. The Italian guys were just passing but were happy to pose for a photograph. The short one on the left seems to have a problem with where to put his hand but managed to get close even with my friends bouffant hairstyle. Being a good girl I kept my cardigan well buttoned up.

I adore this gorgeous black and yellow dress with its frills and flounces. It is a 1950s/1960s dress and shows the style of the time. I especially love the sleeves which are lined in the yellow material and add an extra-special touch to the garment.

This truly magnificiant dress is in green with navy spots and was worn by its previous owner when she met the late Queen Mother over 30 years ago. It is in excellent condition and is available for £45.
