COSTUME DRESS
Emma, our lovely sewing teacher, has bought a dress in this gorgeous material to convert into a coat. She has promised to let us have a phtoograph of the result so watch this space.
1930s BED COVER
We are very fortunate to have been donated this beautiful bed cover. The story goes that it was made as a wedding present for a couple in the 1930s but was never used. It is in perfect condition and is in a pretty shade of pink. The embroidery work on it is out of this world and it also has delicate fringing around the edge.
Gorgeous ruffle lace evening dress
The lady who originally bought this charming dress from us has brought it back into the shop after having great pleasure wearing it. It has now been seen by 'Anyone Who Matters in the London area' and she has kindly returned it to Vintage Vison so that someone else can have as much fun wearing it as she has. It is approximately size 10/12, is priced at £60 and is in perfect conditon. Just right for those cocktail parties !

SMART ANYWHERE SKIRT AND TOP
This very versatile early 60s suit is in a wool mixture and is ideal for this time of year when the weather can be warm, chilly or cold. It looks equally good on its own, with a jacket or under a winter coat. It is approximately a size 12 and with its tie belt gives a very flattering waistline. Perhaps, if you call in this Sunday, you would like to try it on.
PINEAPPLE
This funky pineapple would have proved invaluable at a cocktail party in the 60s. It would have contained ice-cubes for your Martini, Cherry B or Babycham. Ice-buckets were also available in pear shapes but these were not as popular. Pineapples are very collectable along with soda syphons etc. So come on down and shake your tail-feather baby

CUSTOMISED 80s DRESS
These pictures show how you can customise an already pretty dress in to one that is even prettier by decorating it with home-made flowers etc. It is well worth the effort and looks fantastic.

CASHMERE COAT
Add a little luxury to your wardrobe with this beautiful cashmere coat which, not too long ago, only the very rich could afford. When you see the quality of this coat you will understand why this was so.
This coat is actually a little redder than shown on the photograph which adds to its attraction. It has a wonderful "swing feel" to it and will be much appreciated over the coming winter months. It is probably a size 14/16 and I feel £80 is very reasonable for such elegance.
NEW IN STORE
This amazing Jay Cliff 1950/1960s suit came in to the shop last week and has attracted several prospective buyers already. It is in pale green with a stylish fur collar. The buttons are covered in matching green marterial and it sports very neat pockets. The skirt is straight in design. Being made of pure wool it will be cosy for the autumn and winter months. The size is probably 10 to 12 and it is priced at just £45 .

FANTASTIC PROM/PARTY DRESS
This is an extraordinary dress. It comes from America and is a 1980s prom or party dress. It is in black with tiny black sequins. It has lace sleeves and a gorgeous rose at the waistband. The back of the dress is also very prettily decorated as you can see from the photograph. It is in excellent condition. It has an overall length of 37", a bust measurement of 32" and a waist measurement of 26" and at a cost of only £30 it could soon be yours.
