This photograph was taken in 1964 when I was 17. I am the one in the middle with the permed hair and Brownie camera. It was my first holiday abroad without my parents and was organised by the college I was attending. I loved the dress I am wearing with its green and brown floral pattern. The Italian guys were just passing but were happy to pose for a photograph. The short one on the left seems to have a problem with where to put his hand but managed to get close even with my friends bouffant hairstyle. Being a good girl I kept my cardigan well buttoned up.
